Yandy Díaz Powers Rays to 3-2 Walk-Off Win Over Marlins

TAMPA, Fla. Tampa Bay Rays’ slugger Yandy Díaz delivered a clutch performance Sunday, launching a game-tying homer and driving in the winning run with an eighth-inning double to secure a 3-2 victory over the Miami Marlins at Tropicana Field.  

Game-Changing Moments 

Fifth Inning: Díaz crushed a two-run blast off reliever Valente Bellozo (1-3), erasing Miami’s 2-0 lead.  

Eighth Inning: The Cuban star ripped a go-ahead double off Bellozo, setting up José Caballero (pinch-running) to steal third and score on Brandon Lowe’s sac fly.  

Pitching Drama: Rays’ starter Drew Rasmussen saw his 23-inning scoreless streak MLB’s longest this season  end in the first inning after defensive miscues led to a Marlins run.
